Prayer Thanking God For Drinking Water | With Bible Verses

Dear Heavenly Father,

.

Today I come before you with a heart full of gratitude for the simple yet essential blessing of clean drinking water. Your word reminds us of the life-giving power of water, as in Isaiah 41:17-18, ‘The poor and needy seek water, but there is none, their tongues are parched with thirst.

I the Lord will answer them; I the God of Israel will not forsake them. I will open rivers on the bare heights, and fountains in the midst of the valleys. I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water.’ Thank you for your provision and sustenance, as it is written in Psalm 107:35, ‘He turns a desert into pools of water, a parched land into springs of water.’

Your word also reminds us of the spiritual nourishment water provides, as in Isaiah 55:1, ‘Come, everyone who thirsts, come to the waters; and he who has no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.’

Thank you, Lord, for the gift of water, essential for life and refreshment.
