Prayer Against Enemies With Bible Verses
Dear Heavenly Father,
As I come before You in prayer, I seek Your guidance and strength in facing my enemies. Your Word in Psalm 18:2 declares, "The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold." I take refuge in You, knowing that You are my protector and my source of strength.
Lord, I acknowledge the presence of my enemies and the challenges they bring. Your Word in Psalm 55:12-14 describes the pain caused by enemies, saying, "If an enemy were insulting me, I could endure it; if a foe were rising against me, I could hide. But it is you, a man like myself, my companion, my close friend, with whom I once enjoyed sweet fellowship." I pray for Your comfort and guidance in dealing with the betrayal and hurt caused by my enemies.
Father, I confess my weaknesses and limitations in facing my enemies. Your Word in Psalm 27:1 reminds me to have courage, saying, "The Lord is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life—of whom shall I be afraid?" I pray for Your strength to overcome fear and doubt, and to face my enemies with boldness and confidence.
Lord, I lift up my enemies before You. Your Word in Proverbs 16:7 assures me that "When the Lord takes pleasure in anyone's way, he causes their enemies to make peace with them." I pray for reconciliation and peace to prevail, that the hearts of my enemies may be softened and that conflicts may be resolved. Grant me the wisdom to respond to my enemies with love and forgiveness, as Your Word teaches in Matthew 5:44, "But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you."
Father, I pray for protection against the schemes and attacks of my enemies. Your Word in Psalm 91:2-4 promises, "I will say of the Lord, 'He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.' Surely he will save you from the fowler's snare and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge." I trust in Your divine protection and ask that You shield me from harm and guide me in every step I take.
Lord, I pray for justice to prevail. Your Word in Proverbs 21:15 declares, "When justice is done, it brings joy to the righteous but terror to evildoers." I ask that You bring about justice for the wrongs committed against me by my enemies. May truth prevail and may the consequences of their actions lead to repentance and transformation.
Father, I surrender my enemies into Your hands. Your Word in Deuteronomy 32:35 assures me that "It is mine to avenge; I will repay. In due time their foot will slip; their day of disaster is near and their doom rushes upon them." I trust in Your perfect justice and ask that You deal with my enemies according to Your wisdom and righteousness.
In the midst of this battle, I cling to Your promises and seek Your guidance. Your Word in Isaiah 41:10 encourages me, saying, "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." I rely on Your strength and ask for Your presence to be with me as I face my enemies.
