The book of Ecclesiastes reminds us that “whoever loves money never has enough; whoever loves wealth is never satisfied with their income” (Ecclesiastes 5:10). This verse speaks to the insatiable nature of greed, where the pursuit of wealth and material possessions can never bring lasting fulfillment. The constant desire for more can lead to a never-ending cycle of dissatisfaction and discontentment.

Proverbs 15:27 warns, “He who is greedy for gain troubles his own house, but he who hates bribes will live.” This verse highlights the destructive nature of greed and its impact on individuals and families.
