Happy New Month Prayer With Bible Verses Requesting God’s Blessings
Dear Heavenly Father,
As I stand before You at the beginning of this new month, I am reminded of Your faithfulness and Your promises. Your Word in Isaiah 43:19 declares, "Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert." I thank You for the opportunity to embark on a fresh start, filled with anticipation for the new things You have in store for me.
Lord, I surrender this new month into Your hands, knowing that You are the author and finisher of my life. Your Word in Psalm 139:16 assures me that "all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be." I trust in Your divine plan for my life and ask for Your guidance and direction in all my endeavors during this month.
I pray for Your wisdom and discernment to make wise decisions, as Your Word in Proverbs 2:6 says, "For the LORD gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding." Open my eyes to see beyond the surface and help me make choices that align with Your will and bring glory to Your name.
Lord, I ask for Your strength and perseverance to face any challenges or obstacles that may come my way in this new month. Your Word in Joshua 1:9 encourages me, saying, "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go." I take comfort in knowing that You are by my side, guiding and empowering me to overcome any difficulties.
I pray for Your provision and abundance in every area of my life during this month. I trust in Your provision and ask for Your blessings to overflow in my relationships, my work, my finances, and every aspect of my life.
Lord, I also pray for spiritual growth and intimacy with You during this month. Your Word in Psalm 63:1 declares, "O God, you are my God; earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you; my flesh faints for you, as in a dry and weary land where there is no water." May my soul thirst for You, and may I draw closer to You through prayer, worship, and the study of Your Word.
Finally, I commit this new month into Your hands, surrendering my plans, desires, and expectations to You. Your Word in Proverbs 16:9 reminds me that "The heart of man plans his way, but the LORD establishes his steps." May Your will be done in my life, and may I walk in obedience and surrender to Your leading.
Thank You, Heavenly Father, for the gift of a new month. I thank You for Your faithfulness, Your love, and Your grace. May this month be filled with blessings, growth, and opportunities to bring glory to Your name. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
