Prayer For The Night With Bible Verses Seeking God's Protection
Dear Lord,
As I come before You in the quietness of this night, I am reminded of Your faithfulness throughout the ages. Your Word in Psalm 121:4 declares that You neither slumber nor sleep, and I take comfort in knowing that You are always watching over me, even as I rest. I trust in Your unfailing love and protection.
As the day comes to a close, I reflect on the events and experiences that have unfolded. Your Word in Psalm 139:23-24 encourages me to search my heart and invite You to examine my thoughts and motives. I ask for Your forgiveness for any words, actions, or thoughts that were not aligned with Your will. Cleanse me from within, and guide me to walk in righteousness.
In this moment of stillness, I surrender all my worries, anxieties, and burdens into Your capable hands. Your Word in Psalm 55:22 reminds me to cast my cares upon You, for You will sustain me. I release every burden, every concern, and every fear, knowing that You are the source of my strength and peace.
Lord, I am aware of my dependence on You for every breath I take. Your Word in Proverbs 3:24 assures me that when I lie down, I will not be afraid, and my sleep will be sweet. I ask for peaceful and restful sleep tonight, undisturbed by anxious thoughts or troubling dreams. May Your presence surround me, bringing comfort and security throughout the night.
I pray for protection over my loved ones as well. Your Word in Psalm 91:11-12 promises that You will command Your angels to guard and protect us. I ask that You would dispatch Your angels to encamp around us, shielding us from any harm or danger. Keep us safe under Your watchful eye, both now and always.
Lord, I am grateful for the blessings You have bestowed upon me throughout this day. Your Word in Lamentations 3:22-23 reminds me that Your mercies are new every morning. I thank You for Your faithfulness and grace that sustain me. As I rest tonight, I trust in Your provision and guidance for the days to come.
In the stillness of this night, I surrender my heart, my mind, and my entire being to You. I ask that You would speak to me in the quietness of my soul, revealing Your wisdom, guidance, and comfort. May Your presence fill this room, bringing peace and tranquility.
I commit the night into Your hands, knowing that You are the God who never slumbers. I rest in Your love, knowing that You are always with me. In Jesus's name, I pray.
