Prayer For Strength | With Bible Verses

Dear Heavenly Father,



We humbly come before Your throne, seeking strength and courage in our times of weakness and fear. We find solace in the words of Isaiah:


“But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” (Isaiah 40:31)



Lord, we place our hope and trust in You. We ask You to renew our strength as we face the challenges and trials of life. Just as eagles soar above the storm, help us rise above our difficulties, empowered by Your unwavering presence.



In the book of Exodus, Your servant Moses encourages us with these words: “The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still.” (Exodus 14:14). Father, we find rest in this promise, knowing that You are our defender and protector. Grant us the strength to surrender our fears and worries to You, trusting that You will fight on our behalf. Help us to find stillness in Your presence and allow You to work mightily in our lives.



Your servant David, in the book of Psalms, also offers us words of encouragement: “The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him.” (Psalm 28:7)



Lord, be our strength and our shield in the midst of trials. May our hearts find unwavering trust in You, knowing that You are our ever-present help. Fill us with joy, even in the midst of difficult circumstances, and let our praises rise to You, our faithful and loving God.



Finally, we seek comfort in the words of the prophet Jeremiah: “But blessed is the one who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.” (Jeremiah 17:7-8)



Lord, we choose to place our confidence and trust in You. Like a tree firmly rooted by the water, we ask that You strengthen our faith. Let us not fear the heat of trials and hardships, knowing that You provide sustenance and refreshing in times of drought. Help us to bear fruit that brings glory to Your name.



In Jesus’s name, we pray.
